Roscoe Fultz was an integral part of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission for many years. He passed away on April 15, 2012. His family and friends honored his memory yesterday with the installation of his memorial stone at the Roscoe Fultz Memorial Picnic Area next to the Reeves Golf Course Annex at Lunken Playfield.
Mr. Fultz was born in Madisonville and lived his life in North Avondale. A member of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and the Cincinnati Park Board, he was an avid golfer who coached and mentored youth.
“Mr. Roscoe,” as he was known, believed in the importance and impact of the game of golf on our city youth instilling discipline and sportsmanship.
Bless you, Roscoe Fultz – you are missed!
