Now It’s Easy to Ride the Bus to a CRC Facility

Jul. 9

Just look for the CRC logo on bus stop signs. CRC, Metro, Cincinnati Parks, Great Parks of Hamilton County and Green Umbrella are partnering to promote riding the bus to Cincinnati locations including CRC facilities.

On July 10, 10 a.m. at Washington Park, Metro and its partners will unveil a bus stop sign that will be used to mark bus stops near dozens of park and recreation facilities across Cincinnati and Hamilton County.

Be sure to ride the bus to these CRC centers and pools:

Bush, College Hill, Hartwell, Hirsch, LeBlond, Lincoln, Madisonville, Mt. Washington, Oakley, Over the Rhine, Price Hill and Winton Hills Recreation Centers; Mt. Adams Pool; and Lunken Playfield RecPlex.

As an added benefit, 13 kids will receive a free 1-trip, round-trip bus pass to take CRC swim lessons. CRC’s “I CAN SWIM!” project and scholarship program is American Red Cross instruction designed to help swimmers of all ages begin, develop and refine their swimming skills. Go to the pool of your choice to register for “I CAN SWIM!” lessons. Scholarships for youth swim lessons are available at 25 CRC pools.
