Roselawn Sports Complex

In summer 2014, CRC partnered with the Reds Community Fund, P&G and Major League Baseball to expand CRC’s Roselawn Sports Complex to be a state of the art baseball facility for Cincinnati - the P&G Cincinnati MLB Urban Youth Academy. The Academy offers free, year-round baseball and softball instruction plus educational opportunities for boys and girls ages 5-18.

The Academy is the newest of four MLB Urban Youth Academies throughout the country. It cost $7 million to build and boasts a 33,000-square-foot indoor facility.

The complex includes batting cages and four completely renovated ball fields, maintained to MLB standards, with one having grandstand seating for 450, a fully functioning press box, concession stand and restrooms and another having an artificial turf infield.  There are also classrooms for the participants to receive free tutoring, a new picnic shelter with restrooms, new playground and new welcome center.
