BRIEFLY DESCRIBE INCIDENT: Companies were dispatched for a boat capsized with four people aboard. One victim, a female safely swam to shore and called in the emergency. The other three male victims were located on the Cincinnati side of the river at the Water Works facility at 5651 Kellogg Ave. These victims were able to flag down an Anderson Township Fire Rescue boat from shore. The three victims were then transported to the Aquaramp Harbor and Marina, Newport KY, by Cincinnati Fire Rescue Boat 3. The capsized boat was also located and towed there. The three members were all in good condition with only one victim complaining of a minor injury. The exact cause as to why the boat capsized in under investigation.
