The Cincinnati Fire Department will participate in the First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Festival & Golf Ball Drop for Kids on Wednesday, July 23rd at the Cincinnati Recreation Commission – Reeves Golf Course.
The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Festival?designed to showcase a new aspect of The First Tee’s unique character-building curriculum for kids that promotes an active, healthy lifestyle?will open at 10 a.m. The festival features three interactive “challenges” to be played by family teams, as well as other festival fun (face painting, animal balloons, etc)…and food (Chipotle, Chick-fill-A, Orange Leaf, etc.). Admission is free.
The featured fundraising event?TFT-GCNKY’s Golf Ball Drop for Kids?gets underway at noon when one of the Cincinnati Fire Department’s tallest hook-and-ladders will make two raffle ball drops onto a target green. The owner of the first ball into (or nearest to) the hole on each drop wins!
