CRC Volunteer Programs and Opportunities

Volunteer Form

The Cincinnati Recreation Commission (CRC) is proud of its history with volunteers. Over 40,000 volunteer hours are logged each year to help the organization improve its programs and facilities. Whether you are seeking an individual or group opportunity, you will find it with CRC.

Community and Senior Centers
The CRC operates 27 community or senior centers throughout Cincinnati. Each of the centers uses volunteers in a variety of different ways. Please contact any of our centers and ask about volunteer opportunities.  List of centers.

Group Projects
The Cincinnati Recreation Commission has a long history of coordinating group projects.  Due to CRC’s large infrastructure we have come to rely on community and corporate groups to help maintain our buildings and properties. No group is too large or small as we can customize a project to fit your organization’s needs. Throughout the year we work with a variety of groups doing one day projects like painting, landscaping and clean-ups. One of our most successful programs is the yearly maintenance of our 1000 Hands Playgrounds. To volunteer as a group or to seek further information please send an email to wayne.lurix@cincinnati-oh.gov
